Potato Cheese Soup
Potato Cheese Soup-Oh My! Serves 4-6
3 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cube or tablespoon chicken bouillon
1 cup water
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups shredded American cheese
1 cup chopped ham (optional)
In a large stock pot add potatoes, celery, onion, chicken bouillon, water and parsley flakes and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper and simmer until vegetables become tender.
In a separate bowl mix flour and milk. Once it is well blended, add to soup mixture and cook until soup becomes thick.
Stir in cheese, cooked ham or and simmer until cheese is melted.
I usually double or triple this recipe because its great as leftovers during the week. Serve up with some yummy toasted sourdough bread or biscuits. Enjoy :)

Very Inexpensive Eye Glasses
Okay well I get a lot of people asking me about this website, http://www.zennioptical.com/ so I just decided to post it. I have worn glasses for most of my life and paid astronomical amounts even with insurance...until now. I currently have 4 pairs of glasses and I believe the most expensive pair I ordered was $15. All you need is your prescription which the optometrist by law has to give you. After you pick out the glasses, just fill in the blanks with the info and in two weeks you have brand new, perfect glasses. I honestly cannot tell the difference between my $15 ones and my $200 ones. They have hundreds to choose from for the whole family! I sound like a commercial but seriously I'm sick of the eye wear companies ripping us off! Check it out, its the real deal!

Clear Shoe Organizer for Pantry
Daily Tip #2 Re purpose a clear shoe organizer
Who would of thought? I love this idea because of the additional added space it brings and there is no digging through the back of the shelf to locate something. Brilliant!
